Creating these journals have truly changed my life and have turned me into a full-time artist this year.
It’s just fun, because I started it as a fun little side-project because I’m an avid journaler, and I love painting, as well, and I just thought, ‘How about create some journals that could encourage people?’
And then it turned into this side business, which is now one of my main sources of income, which is just so amazing when you’re an artist and you’re able to do something creative that you love.
A highly successful, self-owned product offer to your most loyal supporters can be something as traditional as merch, or a course… or as unique and organic as coffee, candy, or an artistic, inspirational limited series of something personal your fans can use daily (see Shayna’s journals, above).
The point is, when your offer is meaningful, you’ll feel zero cringe in making it available to the viewers who really cut for you.
Not to mention the orders of magnitude more satisfaction you’ll feel in selling a ton of something you designed/developed, as opposed to a ton of something else from yet another ad partner.
